Rural Advancement Fund of the National Sharecroppers Fund

The Rural Advancement Fund of the National Sharecroppers Fund works with African American farmers and youth in growing and marketing healthy and culturally traditional vegetables, fruits, grains, and herbs. Young people in South Carolina who aspire to farm are learning to build a career in agriculture that is informed by their cultural knowledge, as they immerse themselves in the land, plants, and rural community of food growers.
