Native American Educational Technologies (NAET)

Native American Educational Technologies (NAET) serves the restoration of the cultural and practical presence of Indigenous peoples on Mooningwanekaaning (Madeline Island, WI), while cultivating Indigenous-led intercultural learning, partnership, and power building to strengthen community resilience. One of their key programs is Manitou Makoons Gitigaan, a 5-acre community farm that is reconnecting and restoring Indigenous ways of life on the island. From Anishinaabe-led building of regenerative and climate resilient agriculture to nurturing intercultural community healing, they are building sustainable, loving, Indigenous-led, sovereign and land-based lifeways within their bioregion.
